Rutland House Restoration
The project was for comprehensive repairs to the frontage of Rutland House, a Grade II Listed building that is a managed office workspace business.
The works included new external lime render to frontage, installation of new timber sliding sash windows and replacement of deteriorated stone & timber cills. A new traditional stone plaque was installed to the front of the property, with the inappropriate banner previously present at first floor level removed; a metal boot scraper previously present adjacent the front door was reinstated.
The condition of the property has significantly improved as a direct result of the works, with its special significance boosted and architectural interest enhanced.
- The works took place from mid-2020 to October 2020.
- The contractors were Skill Stone.
